Below are some tips on how to post ads that attract a lot of buyer interest.
- Make sure you post in the correct category.
- . Do not post the same ad more than once or repost an ad within 7 days.
- . Do not upload pictures with watermarks.
- . Do not post ads containing multiple items unless it’s a package deal.
- . Do not put your email or phone numbers in the title or description.

What are the ad posting rules?
- The item or service should be legal in Sri Lanka
- The item or service should be offered in Sri Lanka
- The item or service should be specific
- Multiple items or services are not allowed
- Counterfeit goods, knockoffs, or replica versions of another company’s product are not allowed
- Duplicate ads are not allowed
- When an ad is deleted, the same cannot be posted for 48 hours
- Use only valid phone numbers and email addresses
- Make the pricing realistic
- Do not use offensive language
- Do not use offensive pictures
- Pictures should match the item or service
- URLs are allowed in the description, only if relevant to the item or service
- Animal cruelty is not allowed
- Liquor, Tobacco, or related ads are not allowed
Add as much detail as you can
Ads with clear details get more views! Include keywords and information that buyers will be interested in. Remember to be honest while providing these details
Add great photos
Use clear photos of the item you’re selling. Ads with real photos get up to 10 times more views than ads with catalogue/stock photos. Make sure the lighting is good and take photos from different angles
Pick the right price
Everything sells if the price is right! Browse similar ads on ecofun and choose a competitive price. In general, the lower the price, the higher is the demand. If you are willing to negotiate, be sure to select the Negotiable option while posting the ad.
Boost your ads!
Now that you have created a great ad, it’s time to show it off! Boost your ad to get up to 10 times more views and interested buyers for your ad. The higher the demand, the better your chances of selling fast for the price that you want.
